Bookings
A deposit payment is required to confirm your place in each trip. Final payment is due no less than 120 days prior to the trip start date. Space is limited, so early registration and deposit payment are advised.
Reservations
Your booking is confirmed once your deposit is received. Details for the remaining balance will be sent via email approximately 30 days before the due date. If the final payment is not made on time, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and offer the spot to someone on the waiting list. If your spot is not filled, your deposit will be forfeited.
To avoid additional fees, the balance must be paid by bank wire transfer. Credit card payments incur a 3% fee, applied to the deposit amount.
The tour price includes accommodation, excursions, meals, cooking classes and wine served during meals. Group transfers to and from the designated meeting point at the scheduled time are also included.
You are responsible for all other expenses, including airfare, transportation to the meeting point, additional hotel services and/or stays, and optional or pre/post-tour activities. Prices are based on double occupancy. A limited number of single rooms are available with a supplement. We will attempt to pair you with a roommate upon request, but this cannot be guaranteed. If no match is found, the single supplement will apply.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be submitted in writing and take effect on the date received. If sent via email, we will confirm receipt.
Cancellations are subject to a $500 administrative fee per person. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 120 days of the tour start date, unless we can fill your space with another paying participant at least two weeks before the tour begins.
If you cancel more than 120 days before the tour and your deposit was paid on time, you may apply your deposit and/or final payment to a future tour within 12 months of the original start date, subject to availability. If you cancel the rebooked tour, all funds will be forfeited.
If a tour must be rescheduled due to COVID-19 or similar travel restrictions, you will receive priority for the rescheduled dates and may transfer your payments to that or another available tour. If you cannot attend the new dates, you will receive a full refund.
If two participants share a room and one cancels, the remaining guest may be charged the single supplement if the spot cannot be filled.
If a tour does not meet the minimum required number of participants, we reserve the right to cancel it. In that case, all payments will be refunded in full, releasing us from further liability.
Tour prices are based on current costs, taxes, and exchange rates and may be subject to change. Any changes will be communicated in advance.
Passports and VISAs
All travelers must be in possession of a valid passport and visa (if applicable). Please check with your local in country authority whether you require a visa.
Travel Insurance
All participants are required to have travel insurance coverage for personal injury, medical treatment, trip interruption, trip cancellation and evacuation. Participants may elect to add coverage for theft, damage or loss of personal items.
Itineraries
We reserve the right to make minor changes to the published itinerary as required if necessary.
Liability and Services Disclaimer
All services provided in connection with the tour—including lodging, transportation, and other arrangements—are supplied by independent contractors who are not agents, employees, or representatives of our organization. By participating in the tour, you acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any delays, mishaps, inconveniences, expenses, injuries, deaths, or property damage resulting from the actions, negligence, or omissions of any third-party providers involved in delivering tour services.
We are not responsible, either directly or indirectly, for any loss, injury, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to, force majeure events such as acts of God, war, governmental actions or advisories, pandemics, epidemics, quarantines, weather disruptions, terrorism, civil unrest, labor strikes, natural disasters, fire, accidents, or other unforeseen events.
We also disclaim responsibility for any personal belongings or property that may be lost, damaged, or left behind during the tour.
